|4 Giant's Causeway, Northern Ireland
The Giant's Causeway is in Northern Ireland and is one of the treasured places that you don't have to tell the kids don't touch. Over 40,000 Basalt columns were formed by an ancient volcano and are so close together that they hold water. This is mother nature at its finest. Note * From the top of the hill pay the 2 pounds to get a ride down and back up, unless you are in great shape. I consider it the best money I spent in the British Iles.
